From September 25 to 27, 2025, district administrative personnel from across India gathered in Bangalore for a three day Admin Training. Organized by the Eurasia Regional Office, the training brought together district secretaries, superintendents, and administrative staff for a time of learning, connection, and encouragement. The focus was clear to equip those who serve behind the scenes with practical tools, shared understanding, and biblical grounding to strengthen district leadership and support healthy transitions.
Throughout the training, participants engaged with a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including credential processing, district assembly planning, APR reporting, legal documentation, and the preparation of district journals. Each session intentionally held together practical instruction and spiritual reflection, reminding everyone present that administrative work in the church is not secondary, but an act of service and faithful stewardship.
Sessions were led by Heidi Bowes, Regional Secretary, and Claire Fender, representing the Regional Credential Boards. Their guidance brought clarity and confidence, particularly in areas such as credential processes, accurate APR reporting, and navigating leadership transitions with care and integrity.
The three days were shaped around key themes of order, accountability, and continuity. Participants openly discussed common challenges such as system access issues, documentation gaps, and the importance of preparing and training successors. Each morning began with devotional reflections that set a spiritual tone for the day, with reminders like “Leadership is service, a good leader prepares others to lead” and “Let all things be done decently and in order.” These moments helped ground the work in faith and purpose, reframing administration as ministry rather than task.
By the end of the program, many expressed a renewed sense of purpose and commitment. Participants left with clearer understanding of their roles, practical action steps for improving APR reporting, and a deeper awareness of how strong documentation and good communication safeguard the health of the church.
Admin Training 2025 in Bangalore strengthened both the hands and the hearts of those who serve faithfully behind the scenes, ensuring that every administrative effort supports the mission of the Church of the Nazarene with order, accountability, and grace.
