  • Pastors and leaders are overworked.

  • Evangelicals face opposition from several fronts due to unfavorable opinions.

  • The church faces legal matters relating to property along with other legal issues requiring excessive time, attention and finances.

Prayer requests

  • Please pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to bring new boldness and power to the church, filling it with God’s love and grace.

  • Pray God raises up a new generation of God-called pastors, preachers, evangelists, teachers, and leaders to take the Bulgarian church forward in the years to come.

  • Pray for God to grow and resource theological education, including translated materials and additional qualified teachers.

  • Pray for the church to mature and become financially self-sustaining.


  • Two theological learning centers provide classes for lay and minister training.

  • A small group Bible study is discipling people in Varna.

  • A new church plant in city of Sofia is in the planning stage.

  • A missionary couple is relocating to Sofia.

Compassionate Ministries

  • NCM projects include an orphanage, a home for people with physical disabilities, a ministry to Roma people, and a job training center that includes helping people start small businesses.
